Rolltop is not a “virtual and futuristic” gadget, existing only on the screen of your computer as in the most of similar concepts and visions! Most of the existing design concepts usually have been developed without any deep technologic and ergonomic elaboration and often could be difficult or even impossible realized. From the beginning Rolltop has been developed as a real future product. During its development a lot of different scenarios (e.g. usability, functionality etc.) were simulated. Moreover we have included in Rolltop the best worldwide ergonomic, mechanic and electronic practices. 

Technology

                              The device of the flexible display allows a new concept in notebook design growing out of the traditional “bookformed” laptop into unfurling and convolving portable computer. Rolltop incorporates both latest high-tech devices and a new brand design techniques into a computer that will increase the quality and productivity of the designers work. 
                                     On top of everything else no laptop bag needed – all computer utilities from an interactive pen through power supply to the holding belt are integrated in Rolltop. This is really an all-in-one gadget.



5g technology

                                                         The fifth generation mobile technology is the latest invention after 2G, 3G or 4G in the list of research and developmental projects. Currently, 5G is being used to develop beyond the limitations of 4G technology.
                                                             It is also being developed to utilize wireless technology to the best of its ability. But, the problem lies in the fact that, experts in technology are doubtful about the development and success of 5G since there aren’t any set standards or specifications which can certify any device as a 5G device. 
                                                                     In the past, 2G and 3G wireless technologies took over 10 years to develop. Thus, it is but natural for the experts to be disinterested due to lack of any solid research on 5G technology.

Would it lead to faster data rates?    



                                    In the developing stages, probably no.  Just like, 3G brought over several changes than 2G, 4G is much more advanced than 3G. 
                                    However, the concentration on the 5G technology would be on erasing out the service boundaries. 
                                  Today, the service provided is limited by its reach and coverage. The key ideas brought in the forefront by the research hints at the idea that users will be able t switch between several networks if the current network signal becomes weak.





When can we expect to use it?


                                                                  5G is still in a pre-developmental stage and thus it will take months and years before it can be implemented on a large scale basis to be capable of using.

4g technology

                                                     4G also called as Fourth-Generation Communications System, is a term used to describe the next step in wireless communications.4G usually refers to fourth generation, which can also be considered as successor to 3G and 2G standard .




                                                       It describes the higher versions of wireless communication. The sophisticated communication system prevailing today can be redefined using the 4G concepts.It has different meaning in different context,but according to (WWRF) Wireless World Research Forum 4G is a combination of wired and wireless networks in computer, consumer electronics and communication technology systems based on the internet technology, that can merge applications like the Wi-Fi and WiMAX capable of transmitting at a speed ranging from 100 Mbps (in cell-phone networks) to 1 Gbps (in local Wi-Fi networks)




                                                               It provide high quality and high point security() and low cost set up,officially named by IEEE as Beyond 3G(B3G).














4G Standardization
WiMAX is a technology that is very busy talking a lot of people as the future 4G technologies. Using IEEE 802.16 WiMAX standard. 802.16 standard included in the category of WMAN (Wireless Metropolitan Area Network). 802.16 standard has data transfer speeds up to 70 Mbps with network coverage reaching 5 kilometers.



















IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) has assign several wirelesscommunication standards into 4 categories:



WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network)
WPAN has maximum range of the network up to 10 meters. Examples of the use of WPAN is Bluetooth.



WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network)
WLAN has maximum range of the network up to 100 meters.



WMAN (Wireless Metropolitan Area Network)
WMAN has maximum range of the network up to 5 km.



WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network)
WWAN has maximum range of the network up to 15 km.



4G wireless technology standardization    

The main objectives of 4G are:


1)4G will be a fully IP-based integrated system.

2)This will be capable of providing 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s speeds both indoors and outdoors.

3)It can provide premium quality and high security.

4)4G offer all types of services at an affordable cost.
